Yankee Stadium fitted out with stainless steel mesh
More than 10,000 m² of stainless steel architectural mesh at the baseball stadium in New York.
Openness was a key focus for the architects designing the new Yankee Stadium. To this end, a specially commissioned Tigris mesh was used in the area of the Great Hall, as well as on the balconies and galleries as a transition between the entrance and the playing field.
The transparency of this stainless steel mesh ensures unobstructed views, while also guaranteeing safety.
Both PC-Tigris and PC-Omega 1505 meshes were used for the exterior architecture and internal design (including elevators, walls and stairwells).
